ABOUT US  G and R Student Properties is owned and run by Gary and Roberta Pledge who are members of the National Landlords Association.

OUR HOUSES  All our houses are on the London Road Estate in Canterbury which is about a 20 minute walk from UKC, Christchurch and the City Centre. Our houses are all Accredited with Canterbury City Council and comply with all current safety regulations.

MAINTENANCE We personally manage and maintain all our properties to a high standard.  They all have central heating and double glazing and are nicely decorated.  They are fully furnished and include washing machines, fridge freezers, microwaves and all have broadband available.

DEPOSIT  -   A deposit equal to one month’s rent (£322.90) is payable on signing of the Tenancy Agreement which is registered with a government run Tenant’s Deposit Scheme.   

ADMIN FEE – a fee of £90 is payable to secure the property.  This covers all preparation and documentation in relation to setting up the tenancy including preparation of the Tenancy Agreement and guarantors’ documentation. 

RENT  - The term for our properties runs from 1st July to 30th June the following year on a 12 month contract.  The rent per room is £74 per week with half rent through July and August.
